PHOENIX — Candidates and political parties are pulling out all the stops as the campaign in Arizona heads into its final 72 hours.

Democrats are organizing what they're calling a huge get out the vote effort, with rallies, precinct walking and phone banks staffed by hundreds of volunteers. Republicans are doing much of the same, plus training hundreds of poll-watchers who will be deployed to observe balloting on Tuesday.

Both parties know turnout could be decisive in some races. Democrats in particular need a strong effort since Republicans are generally more consistent voters.

Both parties are reminding voters who have not yet mailed their early ballots that it's too late to do so now and they'll need to drop them off at a polling place if they want their vote to count.

Have already taken advantage of the mentally challenged. The NNACP took over a Houston polling place and rampant illegal voter registration and fraud had been discovered. Sound like you typical election.

    You utter falsehoods, Steve.
The True the Vote poll watcher did not report voter fraud of any sort. He/she alleged inappropriate electioneering, still to be proven. Interestingly, one of the complaints this hypocrite lodged was that the NAACP members were wearing NAACP logos on their clothing. True the Vote is a Tea Party offshoot which just won a court decision allowing voters to wear pretty much anything political messages they please to the polling place. Apparently they don't think this freedom should be extended to black organizations.
