PHOENIX - Phoenix authorities say two bodies found inside a charred home had fatal gunshot wounds, and investigators are trying to determine if it was a case of murder-suicide.

Phoenix fire spokesman Larry Nunez says the fire started Tuesday morning.

Nunez says the fire was unusual due to the various places it appeared to have started. Investigators say there were about six points of origin throughout the house, including in the garage and the master bedroom.

Television station KNXV reports the bodies of a man and woman were found inside the bedroom. Both were in their 60s and had fatal gunshot wounds.

Police Sgt. Trent Crump says a gun was found between the couple on the bed.

Police have not released the couple's names, but neighbors say the two were married.
