Just when you thought the Chick-fil-A controversy was winding down, it will soon be making an appearance in a store near you.

According to Fox 10, Phoenix-based designer Reanna Diehl, also known as Miss Missconstrued, designed the new line called Chicks-For-Gays.

The white tank tops use red lettering that emulates the fast food chain's logo.

"Everybody's been really supportive and they understand that it's not just about, like, a spoof," she said.

"It's more about, you know, promoting free love and being supportive of one another... we've gotten a really good response."

Jewelry and a menswear line are expected to come out soon.

The tank tops are available at the Missconstrued Boutique on 5th Street, near Roosevelt and online.

I like, support their message and stuff? But like, what exactly are they saying? Seriously--I do think it's a fun spoof. But women, come on! Get articulate! Grow some words sisters.

    That's so funny
How is this not a spoof though? If it's not, then it's a parody. Nothing like capitalizing on a controversy!

    Whatever!
I think this whole "their being hateful" only showed us just how hateful the "pro what ever it is their for actually" is. I wish the Christian in this country would wake up and realize we are the majority of everything in this country. If we banned together like we seen an these restaurants we could do what ever we wanted. All the upcoming elections need is the christian vote for one side only it would wake the 15% of America that is driving issues today and make them realize they need to be respectful. Only Hate going on today is against what made America a good place. Wake up people!

I saw them on that morning show
Started thinking how skanky they came across, with the usual "pouting" and "come hither" type looks. They would be better served by actually working at a Chick-Fill-A. Their modeling left a lot to be desired.

    Missing the point.
She said it's partially a spoof, but it's so much more than that. It's trying help show support & promote treating others as humans. They also promoted her newest fashion line that will be geared towards the gay community. The gay community are big supporters of alternative fashion, so designers enjoy any chance & opportunity to try & show support back. Majority of the responses that were received have all been positive. The negative feedback makes up such a small portion, and honestly has actually only helped inspire more creativity with the project and gain further support. GO MISSCONSTRUED!

I think it's a GREAT idea !! and for the people commenting on their choice of words or their physical appearance.... why don't you post a video of yourself doing better? I, for one, would like to see that. Very creative and a GREAT message !! Way to go Missconstrued !!!

    Trademark violation?
It is an obvious infringment of a business's likeness, whether that is a trademark or logo or whatever. I'm sure this person knew that and designed the clothes in protest anyway. Colleges have sued the pants off of groups that come close to their trademarks. The same should happen here.
