Meghan McCain calls Joe Biden an 'idiot' for latest gaffe
Vice President Joe Biden is no stranger to controversial comments.
Tuesday happened to be no different.
At an event in Virginia, Biden was going along with his speech and attacking presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his budget plans when he got a little off track. Or at least we think.
"Romney said in the first 100 days he's going to let the big banks once again write their own rules. Unchain Wall Street!" Biden then continued with, "He's going to put y'all back in chains."
It led to a mixed response from the crowd that included hundreds of African-American people.
What exactly did he mean with those comments?
Meghan McCain joined KTAR's Mac & Gaydos on Tuesday and gave her thoughts on the latest Biden gaffe.
"I'm so sick of this BS from [Biden]," McCain said when answering what she thought he meant. "I can't stand Joe Biden because I think stupid is worse than being mean."
McCain didn't stop there.
"I just think any insinuation that in America we're going to go back to slavery times is delusional," she said. "It's ridiculous and it's ignorant. ... If I were Obama I would've never picked Joe Biden in the first place. I think he's an idiot. And I know people think it's cute because he's like crazy grandpa and they like his gaffes but I think it's offensive."
