A severe monsoon has left Anthem flooded after heavy winds
and rain rolled through the town.
Washes flooded, stores shut down and trees were uprooted.
The National Weather Service says the Anthem area received
one and a half inches of rain in a 40-minute span late
Tuesday afternoon.
According to APS, 1,500 homes were without power for about
three hours in Anthem, but most of those are back up and
running. All houses without power are expected to be back
up and running over night.
