Christian Bale, who plays Bruce Wayne and his superhero alter ego Batman, is reportedly in Aurora, Colo. to visit victims of the "Dark Knight Rises" shooting.

According to the Denver Post, Warner Brothers, the studio that produced the latest Batman trilogy, confirmed the report.

"Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers," said an assistant for Susan Fleishman, executive vice president for Warner Brothers corporate communications.

Bale and his wife, Sibi Blazic, also visited a memorial for the victims of the shooting.

Twelve people were killed in the shooting and 58 more were injured.

    while its awfully nice
the Christian Bale visited, if it was an unplanned visit, just as himself, not representing the movie or the studio, how did the AP get so many great pictures of him placing flowers, visiting victims. One picture shows just him and his wife standing respectfully at the memorial site and all the rest of the people are kept in a line behind him.Pics of him with the medical staff, no pics of him with any victims. If he was going just as himself, he would have quietly gone to the hospital where the living victims still are and quietly made plans to visit the relatives of the ones murdered.

Are people this jaded, snarky, and jealous? If you think you can do better, put your computer down, get off your butt, and go make a difference.
