Gabrielle Giffords, husband photographed on top of French Alps

Former Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was photographed with her astronaut husband, Mark Kelly, atop the French Alps on Monday.
According to MSNBC, Giffords and Kelly were in France to install a plaque that commemorated the installation of a particle detector on the International Space Station.
Giffords, who uses a wheelchair most of the time, rode a two-stage cable car to enjoy the views.
"Gaby is really enjoying this visit," Kelly told friends and reporters. "This is a great day for us."
This is Giffords' first trip outside of the United States since she was shot in the head in January 2011.
