Just before midnight on Saturday the Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to 5500 S. Gila Avenue in Tucson on a reported suspicious vehicle call. Officers found 53-year-old Richard Ortiz, a former high school wrestling coach and a 15-year-old female both partially dressed.

Ortiz reportedly stopped coaching at Tucson High School in January, but remained a liaison for the team, and was involved in private lessons with the victim since March 2012.

Ortiz was arrested for sexual conduct with a minor, after he was supposed to take the victim home Saturday night but instead took her to engage in sexual activity.
