PHOENIX - A $1,000 reward is being offered for information about an armed robbery at a west Phoenix convenience store.

Phoenix police say that on May 22, a suspect between the ages of 17 and 19 grabbed a drink from store shelves, put it on the counter and pulled a gun on the clerk.

The suspect demanded money and cigarettes.

The clerk put the money tray on the counter, and the suspect emptied it. The clerk then bagged the suspect's drink and the cigarettes and handed them over.

The suspect ran away and has not been found.

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest can get a $1,000 reward by calling Silent Witness at 480-948-6377.
