Weekend Valley freeway restrictions

Improvement work on several Valley freeways will require some closures and restrictions over the weekend, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
• Loop 303 will be closed in both directions between Northern and Olive Avenue from 5 a.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Monday for a waterline relocation.
• Westbound Loop 202 will be closed between Country Club Drive and McKellips Road from 3 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday for installation of an overhead sign.
• State Route 51 will be closed intermittently in both directions in areas between 32nd Street and Greenway Road from 5 a.m. to noon Sunday for APS overhead utility relocation. Delays up to 15 minutes.
• Southbound Loop 101 ramp to eastbound US 60 will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for guard rail work.
• Southbound Interstate 17 will be narrowed to two lanes between McDowell Road and the I-17/I-10 interchange from 9 p.m. Sunday to 3 a.m. Monday for maintenance work.
