An apartment fire in Tucson ended with all residents, two human and two canine, safe from the flames, according to the Tucson Fire Department.
Tuesday evening, Tucson Fire released this video along with photos of the furry residents to their social media channels. The fire in midtown Tucson was described as intense but the fire fighters on scene made sure no one was left behind.

Tucson Fire said one of the pets was hiding, which is common for dogs to do when they are scared. If the owners had not been home, firefighters would not have known to look for the two animals.
In order to help rescuers find your pets, the American Kennel Club advises to keep collars on your pets and leashes in a convenient spot for someone not familiar with your home to find. They also advise to get a window cling, available through the ASPCA, that lets rescuers know what they are looking for.
