Faith in Humanity: Son surprises father by buying him a new home

Every child dreams of repaying their parents back one day for all they have done for them. YouTube sensation Michael Green is no different.

The 28-year-old behind the channel “The Angry Grandpa” decided to repay his father Charles with a brand-new home, according to the Today Show.

Michael and his girlfriend Bridgette decided to take Charles house hunting, with the idea that they were looking for a new home.

“For the past few months, Bridgette and I have been planning a huge prank on Angry Grandpa and today’s the day we’re going to pull it off,” Michael said in the viral video. “We’ve been taking my dad house hunting with us under the pretenses that he’s looking for a house for me and Bridgette. The only problem is, he’s been looking for his own house.”

When Charles came across the house he absolutely loved, Michael decided to break the news to him: the home wasn’t for the couple, but for him instead.

“We are searching for a house for you,” Michael said, pulling out a key to the home. “This is yours.”

Charles, who bears Angry Grandpa namesake, showed his softer side and broke down in tears after hearing the news.

“No, no, Michael,” he said through tears. “I don’t deserve this.”

“Every kid wants to buy their father a house,” Michael responded.
