PHOENIX — Gov. Jan Brewer has filled a judicial vacancy in Maricopa County
The governor on Wednesday announced that Lori Horn Bustamante to be the court’s
Bustamante presides over cases as a court commissioner. She has also
worked as a trial attorney and a deputy county attorney in the Maricopa County
According to Brewer, Bustamante has a well-rounded background in civil and
criminal law. She said Bustamante has a genuine respect for separation of
Bustamante graduated from Grand Canyon University and from Pepperdine
University School of Law.
She replaces Judge Harriet Chavez.
