PHOENIX — Police have released new information in the killings of a
married couple in their north Phoenix home.
They released photos Wednesday of the couple each withdrawing money from a
walk-up ATM about 15 minutes apart late at night on June 28.
Officers reported finding the bodies of 81-year-old William Singer and
64-year-old Barbara Singer on July 2.
Detectives determined trauma and evidence at the scene indicated the deaths were
a double homicide.
They still have no leads.
The couple hadn’t been seen for about a week before police went to their house
to check on their welfare after a caretaker got no answer at the door.
