PHOENIX — Arizona wildlife officials are offering $75,000 in grants to
organizations that help teach people to consider conservation when hunting.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department announced this month that grant money will
be available for local sportsmen’s groups or organizations that conduct public
programs or events pertaining to hunting.
Doug Burt, an agency program manager for hunting and shooting sports, said the
grant will help groups trying to expand introductory hunting programs in their
