As temps go up, Tempe restaurant’s drinks go down

What’s better than a cool drink on a hot day? When that drink costs half the original price.

According to the East Valley Tribune Thirsty Lion Put & Grill in Tempe is reviving their Beat the Heat promotion this summer. From now until August, whenever local, outside temperatures reach 110 degrees or higher the price of house margaritas and mojitos get cut in half.

These drinks, originally priced at $7.50, definitely take the edge off any hot day.

Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill is located at 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway inside Tempe Marketplace.
