Wildfire south of Tucson now fully contained

TUCSON, Ariz. — A wildfire on the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation
southwest of Tucson now is fully contained after charring more than 200 acres.

Tribal officials said the fire was burning southwest of the village of Pan Tak,
which is south of Arizona 86 and east of the community of Sells.

It was fully contained Thursday and officials said no structures were damaged
and no residents needed to be evacuated.

They also said there were no reported injuries.

The wildfire was reported about 8 p.m. Tuesday, and its cause remains
under investigation.
