Memorial for fallen federal officers held in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Dozens of law enforcement officials and their families gathered at Bethany Bible Church in Phoenix for the a memorial service on Wednesday.
The Special Agents and U.S. Marshals Memorial Service was one of many held across the nation during National Police Week.
“These memorial service are not only to remember those deputy marshals, agents and officers killed in the line of duty but its also to honor the people they left behind,” said U.S. Marshal David Gonzalez.
After Wednesday’s celebration of heroism, a wreath presentation was made to honor state and local police officers killed in the line of duty around the state in the past year.
