The Easter holiday is celebrated a bit differently all over the world.
For some, it’s greeted with a big feast. For others, it’s honored with a trip to Sunday mass.
And in the Czech Republic’s capital city of Prague, citizens welcome in the holiday with of all things a bunny hop competition.
Held in the city’s Old Town Square, the hares competed against one another in a steeple chase-type race, that featured hurdles as high as nine feet.
This probably isn’t what the Swedes had in mind when they invented the “sport” back in the 1970s. Nonetheless, the unconventional celebration is quite amusing.
