PHOENIX — A massive snow squall moved through Toronto on Thursday, creating a huge, haboob-like cloud that covered the city.
According to cp24.com, the massive cloud of snow caused a pileup of nearly 100 vehicles.
“I would say anybody driving in this, they’re better to be parked on the side of the highway not moving at all,” [Snowplow operator John Corner] told CP24 before the squall cleared. “It’s probably the worst I’ve seen all winter long.”
Much like when a big dust storm blows through Arizona, officials said “conditions turned on a dime” and visibility quickly dropped, leading to the huge pileup.
Thankfully, only three people were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
