Teacher arrested for sexual conduct with former students

PHOENIX — A Phoenix teacher was arrested Thursday on suspicion of having sexual contact with former students who were underage, police said.
Carlos Pineda Borja, 41, was arrested after police were told that he had engaged in sexual conduct with two former students on campus during school hours during the last school year.
Borja was still teaching at Morris K. Udall School, located near 3700 W. Roosevelt, at the time of his arrest.
Borja was charged with two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, one count of molestation of a child and one count of sexual abuse.
The ages of the victims were not disclosed.
