Beef-loving families are struggling to put their favorite protein on the dinner table, as prices continue to climb.
“Our nation’s cow herds and beef supply are at an all-time low,” said Lauren Scheller of the Arizona Beef Council.
Ranchers were forced to kill off cattle early because of severe drought conditions that gripped parts of the nation and, as a result, there’s not enough beef to feed the hungry masses.
Beef prices are expected to continue to climb.
