PHOENIX — After eight consecutive weeks of falling prices, gasoline is
costing more at the pump around Arizona this week.
Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Wednesday that the average statewide price
for unleaded regular gasoline is at $3.15 a gallon. That’s almost 2 cents higher
than last week.
This week’s national average is at $3.28 per gallon, up by almost 8 cents from
the previous week.
Triple-A analysts said the state’s average gasoline price is at its lowest for
Thanksgiving week since 2010.
Tucson has Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $3.06 a gallon and
Flagstaff has the highest at $3.38.
Missouri has the lowest average gas prices in the continental U.S. at $2.98 a
gallon with Connecticut having the highest at $3.64 a gallon.
