PHOENIX — A man accused of killing his wife at their Scottsdale home eight
months ago has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Maricopa County prosecutors said 61-year-old Michael Jay Cohn entered his plea
He originally pleaded not guilty in the case in April and was facing a charge
of first-degree murder.
Scottsdale police said Cohn called 911 on March 27 and said he had strangled his
Responding officers found Linda Cohn’s body in a bathroom.
Officers said they noticed blood on Michael Cohn’s hands and scratches on his
neck and he asked for an attorney.
