PICACHO PEAK, Ariz. — Westbound lanes of Interstate 10 were closed near
Picacho Peak in southern Arizona overnight after a person was killed after
falling out of a pickup truck due to a collision.
The Department of Public Safety said the passenger fell from the truck Wednesday evening and was then struck by an unknown number of other vehicles.
Authorities said the closure began at approximately 7:30 p.m. and ended
shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
