Report: Tucson among best bang for buck on rentals

PHOENIX — Looking for a new place to live and worried about getting the most for your money? Look no further than Tucson, Ariz.
According to Yahoo! Homes, Tucson is the sixth-best city when it comes to getting the most bang for your buck when renting.
The report said the median rental was listed for $800 per month, costing consumers a median $0.76 per square foot. That rent only changes an average of 0.6 percent per year.
Overall, the best city for to rent with value in mind was Kansas City. Wichita, El Paso, Las Vegas and Virginia Beach rounded out the top five, respectively.
