PHOENIX – The airline company will add in-flight wireless service to 90 percent of its planes.
According to 4-traders, US Airways has finished installation of its Gogo Wi-Fi Internet service on many of its A-class planes as well as its Embraer-class aircraft, which are operated as US Airway Express.
“With US Airways now offering Gogo Wi-Fi Internet on 90 percent of our daily domestic flights, our customers can be assured that they can maximize their productivity and stay connected while in the air,” saidAndrew Nocella, US Airways’ senior vice president, Marketing and Planning.
The website also reports that the upgrade allows for faster data speeds with their ATG-4 (air-to-ground) capacity.
