PHOENIX — A Phoenix woman accused of threatening two of her children with
a butcher knife on Christmas night 2011 has been sentenced to a year in jail.
Maricopa County prosecutors said 33-year-old Jutrina Tillman also was sentenced
Tuesday to three years of supervised probation.
Last month, Tillman pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
She was arrested in late December 2011 on suspicion of two counts of aggravated
assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said they received a 911 call from a sobbing 13-year-old girl who claimed
her mother had a 6- to 8-inch knife and was trying to kill her and her
