PHOENIX — A New York man has been sentenced to natural life in prison for
fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend with a screwdriver at her Phoenix apartment
Maricopa County prosecutors said 43-year-old Dzevad Selimovic was sentenced
Wednesday after pleading guilty to first-degree murder.
Authorities said Selimovic and 27-year-old Emina Redza dated for three months
and lived together in Binghampton, N.Y., before she moved to Phoenix in August
