PHOENIX — Volunteers from Allstate Insurance came together to spread Easter joy Wednesday at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
One of the recipients of an Easter basket filled with goodies was 5-year-old Maddox who has leukemia. His mother, Gina Nagum, said the community has always been very giving and supportive of her son and all the sick children at PCH.
“It’s nice to know they are thought of and remembered by the community,” she said.
Allstate will donate a total of more than 300 Easter baskets to the hospital, enough for every patient. On Easter Sunday, a life-sized bunny rabbit will hand deliver the remaining baskets.
