PHOENIX — Authorities say a man wanted for questioning in the killings of
a woman and her teenage daughter has been found dead at a Phoenix hotel.
Phoenix police say it appears 41-year-old Michael J. Blanco shot himself and a
gun was found at the scene.
He was found dead Tuesday afternoon inside a room at the Knights Inn off the
Black Canyon Highway where he had checked in Monday.
Police say a family member discovered the bodies of 42-year-old Christina
Wilson and her 14-year-old daughter Vanessa Wilson on Monday at a Phoenix home.
They say there was no sign of forced entry to the house and multiple weapons
were found inside.
Police say Blanco was Christina Wilson’s live-in boyfriend and was a “person
of interest” in the case.
