A 10-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday for planning to stab a fellow classmate, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.
According to MCSO, the suspect planned to stab another boy because he “snitched” on him. The plot was uncovered when the suspect asked other boys to help him.
The fifth-grader was found to have a knife and beanie — intended to hide his identity — when he was arrested.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was booked on three Class 3 felony charges.
