Surprise couple charged with child abuse

A couple from Surprise, Ariz. have been charged with abusing their two children on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
A 35-year-old man and his 44-year-old girlfriend have been arrested. According to a police report, they have abused two female victims, ages 11 and 13.
The father has been charged with injury of a minor, molestation of a child, sexual conduct with a minor, aggregated assault and furnishing obscene materials to minors and kidnapping.
The girlfriend has been booked into the Maricopa County Jail for charges of child abuse and failure to report neglect of minor.
The alleged conduct may have began as early as 2009.
