She must be because a true man does bring flowers. Knows what chocolate his woman wants and likes. Not afraid to walk into a Victoria Secrets to buy some "underwear" for his lady. After some time and investigation a man knows what perfume his woman wears and I have some "hot" ideas for some killer shoes. If she doesn't like them she can always take them back. Because if Mamma ain't happy.... Alice you need to expect more from whoever is trying to woo you.

My wife and I exchange lists of things that we might like for Xmas. Not a shopping list, but a starting point to help give the other ideas. Among the top ten items this year are shoes, perfume, hand made chocolates, jewelry from Etsy (i.e.:cheap jewelry), baking supplies, and Burt's Bees toiletries/cosmetics. I wonder if Alice@96.5 is a spinster site? And just so that it is known, my wife and I are 27, so this isn't "generational".

My life loves when I give her flowers and chocolates. And I'm not just saying that...I know :) Exercise stuff, cleaning supplies, sure. But flowers and chocolates? C'mon.

Chocolate, perfume, shoes, I would LOVE to receive these gifts!! I can understand a vacuum. Alice is just not getting it. This is one of the poorest lists I've ever seen! Legs warmers, Snuggy or a ceramic tchotchke should be on the list.
