It's no surprise that many people in Hollywood are jumping on the Obama bandwagon. Actresses Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson and Kerry Washington appear in a MoveOn.org ad that hits candidate Romney on women's issues.
Conversely, you've got the Paul Ryan girl who wants to get fiscal. You can watch that here on the KTAR video page.
Brad Makes an Ad: So far, it's had more than 12 million views on the internet. I'm talking about an ad featuring Brad Pitt pushing Chanel No. 5. In it he's wearing a regular button down shirt and chinos. I mean maybe he should've worn a suit. OK, I would have liked to see him in a suit. Plus, I wear Coco Chanel not No. 5. I don't know HOW many times I have to tell Brad that. Watch the ad here.
Who's That in the Picture: Someone drew a picture of me. Not convinced it's accurate. Take a look at facebook.com/gaylebass
New on DVD: Last week, it was E.T. on Blu-ray. This week you can get ahold of "Chernobyl Diaries," "Moonrise Kingdom" and the Adam Sandler movie "That's My Boy." I refused to go see it because I suffered through "Jack and Jill" and that was practically painful. And for the kids to play over and over and drive their parents nuts, you can get "Madagascar 3." I actually enjoyed that one.
Word on the Street... is that Dreamworks "Rise of the Guardians" may be a contender come Oscar time, according to THR. I love the fact that Hugh Jackman is the voice of the Easter Bunny. And he's not your average bunny... "Iron Man 3" and "Thor 2" will be released in 3-D, according to EW. Look for "The Avengers 2" in 2015. And "Ant-Man" is coming in 2015 too. Never heard of Ant-Man, so I guess that means a trip to the comic book shop.
New Movie Trailer: I actually read the book "Carrie" by Stephen King (while I should have been listening to a lecture in my AP European History class in high school). I saw the original movie by Brian DePalma.
Huge Disney Replica: Disney's Haunted Mansion for sale. Not the actually mansion. It's a replica in Atlanta, GA. You have to supply your own ghosts. The listing eBay has a price tag of $873K. By they way, the place has 7 bedrooms, breathtaking views or is that last-breath-taking views? Check it out.
Halloween Treat: For the last few years, the Click Chick recommends you go to the Ben & Jerry's interactive Halloween pages for deliciously spooky fun. Check out the cook books in the kitchen. I'm particularly fond of the titles "Who's for Dinner" and "The Zen of Gruel."
