Click Chick: Critic says you've got 3 good choices at theaters
The Phoenix Film Critics Society picked "Argo" as the pick of the week. But that's not your only decent choice to catch with a bag of popcorn and and over-sized drink. I checked in with David Ramsey, the president of the PFCS. He says, "'Argo' is a best picture nominee (for the upcoming Oscars). "Seven Psychopaths" is everything you want in a movie. It's funny. It's violent. There's blood and comedy." Yes, OK, if you like those things. As for "Here Comes the Boom" he says it was "surprisingly good. It's funny and touching." He says you can take your family to that one -- if you don't mind MMA fighting.
New 'Gangster Squad' Trailer: Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for "Gangster Squad." A key scene in the film had to be redone as it involved a shooting at a movie theater. Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Emma Stone star:
Food Crime: This one was committed, in my humble opinion, by June. She's the mother of Honey Boo Boo, both of whom appear on a popular reality show on TLC. Now, I know a lot of people live on limited budgets (this family doesn't since they're WELL paid per episode). June says every family has their special recipe. And she's right. She says she feeds her family on about $80 week. But I don't believe I'll be trying her recipe for spaghetti or as they call it "Sketti." Her sauce includes generous amounts of Country Crock margarine and ketchup and ... that's it.
