It was only a matter of time before we heard from Big Bird on what Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said about him during the debate last week. Needless, to say Big Bird stayed classy not picking on Romney because he didn't want to "ruffle any feathers."
Monday Morning Movie Review: Many of you missed "Frankenweenie" over the weekend. How do I know? It only brought in $11 million over the weekend. But I'm encouraging those of you who always ask me "Is there anything family friendly out there?" Well, "Frankenweenie" is. And much like a Pixar movie, it has humor for kids, and tongue and cheek humor for the grown ups well. I think you adults would particularly get a kick out of the homage paid to horror movies of the past (particularly Godzilla). So, do yourself a favor and go check it out. It's worth a look.
Big Book Deal: Actress, writer and filmmaker Lena Dunham has signed a $3.5 million book deal with Random House. Several publishers were vying to get her but RH was the victor, according to the New York Times. Dunham a star and writer for HBO's Girls. Her book is a essay collection.
Male Model: And The Price is Right has it's first male model. He's 24 year old Rob Wilson. He starts on Oct. 15, but apparently it's not a permanent gig. He'll only be doing the job for about a week, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Another Reality Show: Bear Grylls will be hosting a reality show on NBC called "Get Out Alive." It will pit two teams will be "tested in the wilderness through various tasks and missions," says Variety.
Rosie on Honey Boo Boo: Rosie O'Donnell wants to buy Honey Boo Boo and her family and new home. She tells People Magazine she's a fan of the show and says Honey Boo Boo is the ultimate child star with Shirley Temple-like qualities. She says the little girl has an intellect that goes way beyond her years.

First Bieber, Now Gaga: Is this becoming all the rage in the music biz? First it was Justin Bieber that hurled on stage while he was recently in Phoenix. Now, it's Lady Gaga, according to the Washington Post. It happened during a concert in Barcelona, Spain. She tweeted the video and said she had hoped no one would saw it, but now it's a "good laugh if u need one!" I watched it and I gotta give it to that girl - she kept up her dance moves between hurls - while a concerned dancer kinda stood in front of her trying to give her privacy. But it also makes it incredibly obvious that she was lip syncing...
