Click Chick: Phoenix critics pick "End of Watch" as best bet for the weekend
The buddy cop drama (with a dose of humor) "End of Watch" starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peņa was the Phoenix Film Critics Society's Pick of the Week. It scored a 7.0 out of 10. Also opening, Clint Eastwood's "Trouble with the Curve." Dredd 3D is also opening. My thought is at this point, it just as to be better than the original to be considered good. But David Ramsey, president of the PFCS says, "It's a very good action film, stays true to the comic and stands head and shoulders over the original."
Cute Animal Video: Nothing like orangutan tickles. Don't believe me? Watch this.
Mrs. Lohan Regrets: I'm sure Dina Lohan regrets her crazy interview with Dr. Phil. She's just now come to this conclusion? Read the story from E!Online.
The Jackie Robinson Movie: The integration of major league baseball changed the face of sports, and American society. Baseball's first black player, Jackie Robinson, gets his story told in "42" which pens at the beginning of baseball season next year:
Two Bad Guys: Al Pacino and Christopher Walken play a pair of aging bad guys who are up to know good in "Stand Up Guys." And when I say aging, I mean they're in the Geritol set:
KTAR's Chuck Powell loves sports. And I love when he channels his inner Lou Holtz for the Lou Holtz & Mark May Week 4 College Picks. This week he makes some serious allegations about Arizona's success this season. If you look really close, you can see the back of my head while these shenanigans are going on.
