Click Chick: Trailer for 'Zero Dark Thirty' shows Bin Laden hunt
Originally published: Aug 7, 2012 - 6:38 am
This December "Zero Dark Thirty" opens. It's one of two
movies set to hit the screens that dramatize the events
that led up to the demise of terrorist leader Osama Bin
Laden. Entertainment Weekly got its hands on this trailer.
Cute Animal Video of the Day: I brought you
something that will make you cool just watching it. It's
Moki the lab puppy. He
LOVES the A/C vent. I think at this time of year, we
all do!
Don't look for "The Great Gatsby" on the big screen
this year. In a surprise move, The
Hollywood Reporter says Warner Bros. decided to shelve
the lavish 3D Baz Luhrman spectacle starring Leo DiCaprio
until summer of 2013. One thing to note, DiCaprio has
another movie, Django Unchained, opening on Christmas Day
when Gatsby was also supposed to open.
Hollywood and Broadway composer Marvin Hamlisch has
died. His credits include music for "A Chorus Line," "The
Sting," "The Way We Were" and "Sophie's Choice." He was
68.
Today's Timewaster: I know, it's been awhile. It's
the Google
Doodle. Yes, it's interactive today. I've been
clicking on the Olympics Google Doodles for days waiting
for them to come up with something. So today, finally,
it's a hurdler and you just need to help him jump and run.
He doesn't run that fast so there's no way he can catch up
with Usain Bolt!
And for the feel good moment of the day: Bob Carey
sells prints of photos of himself wearing a pink tutu in
locations around the world. His goal this fall is to
publish "Ballerina", a collection of these photos, to help
raise money for breast cancer organizations (his wife has
breast cancer). Check out the Tutu
Project.
