Bullying is a big topic these days, especially for kids who are victimized and their families.
Brooke Barr is a mother who has watched her daughter bulled “relentlessly.” She wants to spread the message about the detriment of bullying, but was at a loss to how it should be done.
Until she saw “A Girl Like Her.”
The film, according to Barr, is different than a majority of bullying films. She felt it was so impactful that she asked the director to schedule a special screening on Saturday.
It will be shown at Pollack Tempe Cinemas at the corner of Elliot and McClintock roads at 9:30 a.m.
