Do you "own" your cellphone? Do you "own" the software contained within?
Starting Saturday, you own less of it than ever before as it will become illegal (as in against the LAW) to unlock or "jail break" YOUR phone.
This has the effect of limiting your options when it comes to choosing a carrier, and even purchasing a phone. More freedoms being chipped away, a little at a time.
